Who we are
Led by Abdallah Soudy — a product and delivery lead with 17 years across government, judicial, education and enterprise platforms in Egypt and the Gulf.
FoundationCX LLC is a limited liability technology company registered in the State of New Mexico, USA (Business ID 0008126389), with its engineering team in Cairo. We deliver the technical side of projects for partners who own the client relationship — technical proposals, planning, project management and delivery — and we are paid as their subcontractor.
Today we deliver for partners in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Why partners
The firms that win the work rarely lack clients. What they lack is a technical side they can trust to be there in the proposal, the plan and the build — and to stay behind them in front of the client. That is the gap we fill.
How we work
A team shaped to the project. A steady engineering core in Cairo holds the architecture and the quality, and specialists join it as each project needs, so the technical direction stays the same from the technical proposal to handover.
Every decision in writing. Each project starts with a decision log, and every important decision passes three questions before it is made: what outcome does it serve, and what does getting it wrong cost? Can this team do it, in this time, on this budget? Will it hold, and what will it make harder later? Our rule: if the decision log is empty, the project is out of control.
A clear line between your decisions and ours. The strategic decision is yours: what gets built, the budget, and the date you promise your client. The architectural and operational decisions are ours. If a decision of yours has a technical effect you cannot see, we write it down for you, and the decision stays yours.
In numbers
- 17 years of the team lead’s experience across government, judicial, education and enterprise platforms.
- 96 requirements of the data-protection law and its regulations covered by our system.
- 70 automated tests on the data protection system.
Where we work
- Saudi Arabia: we deliver behind Saudi partners, including a training platform for a nationwide academy, from the technical proposal to delivery.
- Egypt: our engineering team is in Cairo. We deliver for Egyptian partners, including a managed technical team for an Egyptian IT company, and we offer Egyptian companies data protection and hosting inside Egypt.
- We have also delivered for: an economic zone authority and a new capital project in Egypt, a ports authority in Oman, and a fintech startup in California.
Our initiatives
- An Egyptian operating system initiative: an open desktop operating system, built by an Egyptian team on Debian, so our devices and our data stay under our control.
