What it does for you

A browser-based design workspace for your entire cross-functional team: designers craft screens and clickable interactive prototypes, clients and product managers leave contextual review comments, and software developers inspect layout dimensions, color tokens, and frontend CSS code directly. All design files live securely on a dedicated server we host for you in Egypt, completely free of per-seat designer subscription costs.

Alternative to

If you are looking for an alternative to Figma, this replaces:

  • Figma.
  • Legacy desktop design applications where teams pass proprietary files back and forth over email.

What you get

  • Browser-based design without local software installation, operating across all desktop operating systems.
  • Full vector graphics engine: paths, shapes, typography, and image masking.
  • Real-time multiplayer collaboration: multiple designers working inside the same file simultaneously.
  • Shared design systems and components synced across teams and projects.
  • Flexbox and CSS Grid layout engines matching modern web standards, ensuring designs translate accurately into code.
  • Interactive prototyping with page transitions and animated trigger interactions.
  • Pinpoint canvas commenting for team reviews and client feedback.
  • Developer inspect mode: extracting CSS, SVG markup, dimensions, and typography rules.
  • Asset export supporting PNG, SVG, and PDF formats.
  • Custom corporate typography: upload and render your company's proprietary Arabic and English web fonts.
  • Teams and projects with role-based access permissions.
  • Plugin ecosystem extending core design capabilities.

Built on Penpot, an open-source web-based design and prototyping platform.

Arabic and hosting in Egypt

  • Arabic: parts of the user interface are translated into Arabic with the remainder in English; typography and design text in Arabic render with full OpenType font support.
  • Hosting: we host it for you in Egypt, sizing computing resources and storage to your design team size and project asset volume (infrastructure design).

Who it is for

Frequently asked questions

Is it an alternative to Figma?

Yes, for interface design, shared component libraries, clickable prototypes, contextual commenting, and developer handoff. The difference is it is open source with no per-seat subscription tiers, running on a server inside Egypt.

Can we import our existing Figma files?

It does not parse proprietary Figma binary files directly. We help arrange manual migration of active design systems, or you can launch upcoming new projects directly in Penpot.

Can external clients review and comment without paid licenses?

Yes, inviting clients to projects or sharing view-and-comment review links requires no paid licenses.

Does it operate completely offline?

It operates inside web browsers and communicates with the central host server.

Our limits

  • It does not open proprietary Figma files directly; migrating existing legacy file libraries is evaluated based on asset volume.
  • The software is from its developer (Penpot); our work covers hosting, configuration, operations, and support.
