What it does for you

A dedicated workspace for business communications: direct 1-on-1 messaging, group channels for departments and projects, and seamless file sharing linked directly from company file storage. Work conversations remain strictly separate from personal phones, and all messages reside on a server we host for you in Egypt so data stays with your company when employees leave.

It is a module of Asas by FoundationCX, and can be deployed independently alongside company file storage. If you require video conferencing and meetings, it is powered by the same unified platform (video meetings).

Who it is for

Frequently asked questions

Is it an alternative to Slack or Microsoft Teams?

Yes, for team communication: channels correspond to Slack channels, alongside direct messages, mentions, and file sharing. Video conferencing features in Teams correspond to video meetings on the same system.

Why shouldn't we keep using WhatsApp groups?

WhatsApp numbers belong to individual personal accounts, and critical conversation history and documents leave with departing employees. Here, accounts belong to the company, and departing staff access is revoked centrally.

Does it work on mobile phones?

Yes, using native apps for Android and iOS with push notifications for new incoming messages.

Can we migrate our historical chat archives?

Third-party chat history generally cannot be imported directly into chat feeds; we set up clean channels with you and archive important legacy documents into company file storage.

  • The software is from its developer (Nextcloud); our role is hosting, configuration, operation, and support.
